German Shepherd Dog Stolen from Post Falls, ID

Adolph

(UPDATE - 1/19/11) Just wanted to let anyone checking this out know that the dog was never recovered, there were rumors that maybe he wasn't stolen but sold by the owners girlfriend for money to fund a drug habit, but this info was never confirmed. And just for the record the original breeders of this German Shepherd would take him back if he needed to go to a different home in a heartbeat. They can be contacted through me - if you post a comment and check back I will get back to you.

Adolph is a litter-mate to our Diesel, he was stolen/lost the night of 11-30-10 from his kennel at his home in Post Falls, ID. I haven't hardly slept at all worrying about what has happened to him. All the people who received dogs from this litter are friends and connected to the family that owns the Dam and Sire (dog terms too?). These dogs are all wonderful loving sweet sweet pups. If you live in the Northwest please take a look at these pictures and feel free to link back to this blog post - link it to Facebook, Twitter, whatever just go for it.

This has just made us all sick - we are all wondering if he was stolen for resale to a bio-medical research facility or perhaps someone wanted him to protect their meth lab, pot patch or God forbid, fighting. Either way its not the life we wanted for him.

Young Male German Shepherd STOLEN/LOST from Post Falls, ID 11/30/10. The family that bred and raised this dog would like to know where he is and his condition. He is mostly dark in color and looks to be about 8 or 9 months old. Please message me or leave a comment if you have any info or have seen this dog, or if you have seen someone suddenly get a "NEW" dark colored younger German Shepherd Dog, even if you think its insignificant it my help us locate him. Reportedly he was taken with the neighbors dog, a well muscled Rottweiler. These dogs are very vocal so he's apt to be exceedingly whinny these first couple of days...

Thank you.

Oh that poor family. I can't even IMAGINE how they must feel.
Let's hope/pray that Adolph is reunited with his family.

And worst comes to worst? Its possible they were taken to be pets. Sick too but it does happen.
Not too likely considering the other dog taken was a Rottie.

Please update us if (when!!) he is located.

That's horrible. I hope both dogs are 'found'.

I just read your other post too and giirrrllll...I can so relate. I've got 'family' that I have to stay very removed from. They drive me crazy and I just have no respect for them as individuals.

I'm so sorry you have even lost the small pleasure of looking out your window and seeing Patrick.

If there is ever anything you need, don't you even hesitate to let me know. In the meantime, I'm praying for a change in the wind to come your way. You guys are over-due for a shot of good luck!

I sure hope this dog is located. Makes me heartsick just thinking about it.
