These are the pumpkins hubby and I carved, since we live out in nowhere land we don't get trick or treaters and no one cares if you decorate or not - so we usually don't do a whole lot for Halloween but we still each carve a pumpkin........ and maybe find a Halloween party to attend....
Also we don't call them Jack-o-lanterns - we just call them pumpkins and we don't do the evil scary looking ones, we try to stay on the brighter side of things, just a personal preference (yes based on religious beliefs) you'll find alot more out in rural areas than in the city.

Sorry for my lack of posting - not only do I not have time to post I don't have time read other posts too, life has been busy for us. I am working alot to try to make some extra cash for us, I am still doing great on my gluten free diet - my back still gives me hell I am still on pain meds daily for it but they say there is nothing more medically that can be done for me - and the dogs and pony are doing great.
I think about you all alot (really I do - I am a solitary kinda gal, preferring a little social interaction to alot, so I really enjoy interaction with my blog friends) and I wish you all well.
Hoping to have time to catchup with you all soon - but I don't know when that might be. Hope you all had a Happy Halloween!

And I'm with you on no time to blog or keep up with everyone else. I got up early this morning and was finally able to catch up with everyone for the first time in weeks.
The other thing is that not every day is something to write home to mom or anyone else about. The best times are the ordinary ones that nobody else would care about.
